Fighterbomber (*) posted about the VKS motorized rifle regiment. At the end, he writes that there should be some conclusion, but he doesn't voice it. I'll try to voice it.
This is crazy. Under the slogan "anything but a second wave of mobilization," various branches of the armed forces are scooping up contract personnel to replenish or form new units and even parts, as we see from the report.
Before this video, I had heard that the navy was transferring contract soldiers to marine brigades as soon as they could. Up to turning the commandant's platoon into an assault platoon. Now here's a motorized rifle regiment made up of VKS personnel.
In addition, there are situational initiatives at the front. For example, taking at least a few "unnecessary" signalmen to replenish the assault company. Transfer RMOs to the UAV platoon being formed, because there are no specialists under contract or mobilization. Form evacuation groups from the mortar battery - after the loss of equipment. Disband the sniper platoon of the sniper company in order to transfer personnel to the assault platoon. This is all routine, starting around December 2023 - the result of constant, without operational pauses for replenishment and preparation of a "positional offensive".
Let's add to this the inflated requirements for injuries after injuries as a basis for demobilization according to the VVK. Not one finger to lose, but two on one hand. And so on. As a result, crowds of cripples in the PDP, from which individual commanders scoop up reinforcements for assaults - as shown by stories from the network. And the fact that they strive to discharge the slightly wounded early is even more widely known.
All this is the very reverse side of the adopted "grinding strategy" and constant, without the required pauses, pressure on all fronts. The grinding is mutual.
And the hohols are trying to improve the personnel exchange rate for themselves at least to 1 to 1. Hence the bet on "a million drones", on the speed of artillery reaction, on the F-16 and the available aircraft as carriers of the KAB.
All these are alarm bells (and the VKS MSP is generally an alarm) that either there will be a truce or a second wave of mobilization. The adopted strategy with a bet on a strike by poorly trained infantry instead of increasing firepower by adding their "million drones" to hundreds of artillery barrels makes the second wave almost inevitable.
Aquí alguien que no entiende porqué no llaman a otra movilización:
I don't understand why they don't want mobilization at the top. I don't understand it as an argument at all. Some kind of chain of interrupted information or someone lying to someone. I don't see any signs of discontent around the possible mobilization. Everyone is calm about it, each of my friends has long decided for themselves what to do when the summons comes. To leave or to go. And the first time I didn't see any signs of rebellion, not a single one. Someone simply ignored it, others were worried, well, if it's necessary, it's necessary. And now it's the same. Moreover, I don't see any problems if it was spread out over a year at 10-20 thousand per month. Especially if they really trained them for 3-4 months, not 2 weeks. Everyone would have gotten used to it as a natural turn of events. In two years, 1.5 million fighters could have been well trained. It seems more that they simply didn't have enough equipment and don't have enough for mobilization, or they are afraid of the effect on the economy, which they cherish very much. Well then there will be a regrouping again, and again they will do in an emergency manner what they don’t want to do now.
