.50 long range AMR (anti materiel rifle) M93 “Black Arrow” BMG (12.7x99) and 12.7 DShK (12.7x107)
AMR Black Arrow can effectively engage following target types:
-light armor and non-armored vehicles (at ranges up to 800 m)
-radar antennas, optoelectronic masts
-floating mines
-important individual targets
Operation principle is based on up-scaled Mauser M98 system, proven as highly reliable. The basic features are:
-two front and one rear locking lugs, which in combination with solid steel receiver make extremely strong locking action
-six bolt guiding surfaces for smooth bolt travel in heavy weather and ground conditions
-two auxiliary exhaust nozzles behind the bolt face to lead the gasses downwards if the cartridge case fails
-external, receiver mounted, static blade type ejector for positive, controlled ejection
Barrels are made from CrNiVn steel originally designed for construction of high energy tank guns. They boast sufficient weight to reduce oscillations and longitudinal flutes for enhanced heat dissipation. The rifle is designed to have a peak recoil force not exceeding the force of standard .300 Win. Mag. hunting rifles. This is achieved by use of large, double-baffled muzzle brake and two spring shock absorbers in the stock. The rifle has smooth straight back recoil travel. Height adjustable bipod is placed in the mass center, thus giving the rifle an excellent balance, enabling the marksman to take the most comfortable position. The rifle is equipped with
carrying-handle. Due to its heavy, carefully designed and manufactured
barrel, Mauser locking type system and ergonomic characteristics, the rifle will constantly shoot at 1 MOA (minute of angle) groups with match
ammunition, up to 1500 m.
