We're a peaceful nation and the majority of us are against any war where young Americans are sent to the front line to die. But how our history has demonstrated, we're a people committed to civil rights and freedom. If our President send troops to attack Syrian dictatorship, we'll support our soldiers. Don't doubt about that.
But it's true when you've said that this is unpopular intervention -- polls show sinking support for this attack. President Obama’s public image is weaker than it could be in part because his administration has suffered several scandals in the last years -- IRS, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Solyndra, NSA -- and many Americans are exhausted by two wars for too long. In my opinion, this polls are completely realistic, but pointless. The Kosovo intervention was shunned by public opinion in its moment.
