Tambien da a conocer que al Yak-130 lo hacen dos fabricas unicamente.

KIEV, February 26 (Itar-Tass) - The Ukrainian radar stations in Sevastopol and Mukachevo that are used for missile attack warning, starting from Thursday stopped the transmission of information to Russia in connection with denunciation of the corresponding bilateral agreement. Itar-Tass was told at the Ukrainian National Space Agency that “the radars continue the work in the interests of the Ukrainian space agency.” The regime of their operation is being specified, but it is clear that they will not be on duty round the clock.

Information from these two stations was transmitted to the central command post in Solnechnogorsk subordinated to the Russian Space Forces. Over the past three years the annual pay for the use of the stations was 1.3 million US dollars. In 2007, the Russian government submitted to the State Duma lower house of parliament a bill on denunciation of this agreement explaining it by the fact that the stations’ service life expired back in 2005.

Director General of the Ukrainian National Space Agency Alexander Zinchenko told Itar-Tass that he is not a supporter of the closure of these facilities. “Experience has shown that equipment created for defence needs can be successfully used for other purposes,” the official noted.

The National Space Agency of Ukraine (NSAU) is the Ukrainian government agency responsible for space policy and programmes.

NSAU is a civil body in charge of co-ordinating the efforts of government installations, research, and industrial companies (mostly state-owned). Several space-related institutes and industries are directly subordinated to NSAU. However, it is not a united and centralized system immediately participating in all stages and details of space programmes (like NASA in the United States). A special space force in the military of Ukraine is also absent.

The agency oversees launch vehicle and satellite programmes, co-operative programmes with the Russian Aviation and Space Agency, the European Space Agency, NASA, and commercial ventures. International participation includes Sea Launch and the Galileo positioning system.

Launches are conducted at Kazakhstan’s Baikonur and Russia’s Plesetsk Cosmodromes, and on Sea Launch’s floating platform. NSAU has ground control and tracking facilities in Evpatoria, Crimea.

Ukrainian spacecrafts includes few kinds for own and foreign use and international cooperation. Ukraine has supplied Russia with military satellites and their launch vehicles, a unique relationship in the world. Ukraine became the ninth space power (country able to launch own satellite by own launcher) in 31 August 1995 (at start of Sich-1 on
Tsiklon).

MOSCOW, February 26 (RIA Novosti) - Russia's new Voronezh-type radar site in the southern town of Armavir was put on combat duty on Thursday, the head of the Moscow-based Military Forecast Center said.

"I confirm that a new and more powerful Voronezh-DM radar in Armavir has been put on combat duty tracking missile routes in the south and southeast [of Russia] in place of warning sites in Mukachevo [western Ukraine] and Sevastopol [the Crimea]," Anatoly Tsyganok said.

Russia terminated a 1997 agreement with Ukraine on the use of both radars in Sevastopol and Mukachevo in February 2008 on the grounds that they had become operationally obsolete.

With an effective range of 4,000 kilometers (2,500 miles) the Voronezh-type radar has capabilities similar to its predecessors, the Dnepr and Daryal, which are currently deployed outside Russia, but uses less energy and is more environmentally friendly.

Washington wants to place 10 missile interceptors in Poland and a radar station in the neighboring Czech Republic, purportedly to counter a missile threat from Iran and other "rogue" states. Russia has fiercely opposed the plans, saying the European shield would destroy the strategic balance of forces and threaten Russia's national interests.

Presidente de Yemen resalta la calidad del armamento ruso. Vremya Novostei

El presidente de Yemen, Ali Abdullah Saleh, se siente satisfecho con las armas rusas, según él mismo confesó en una entrevista publicada hoy en el diario Vremya Novostei.

"Nos gustan los equipos bélicos hechos en Rusia", afirmó Abdullah Saleh, quien concluye este jueves una visita a Moscú, ya la quinta desde que asumió el poder. El líder yemení resaltó especialmente la calidad de aviones de guerra rusos, en particular, los MiG-29 que ya llevan mucho tiempo en dotación de la Fuerza Aérea de Yemen y fueron sometidos hace poco a una modernización.

"Tenemos la intención de comprar más cazas de este tipo", afirmó el presidente. Sin precisar la cantidad, dijo que "serán los MiF-29 y, probablemente, también los MiG-35". "Mantenemos, asimismo, negociaciones para la compra de helicópteros y lanchas rusas. Además, seguiremos cooperando con (la factoría de camiones) Kamaz en lo que se refiere a la adquisición de vehículos", agregó.

A la pregunta de si Yemen tiene recursos para permitirse estas compras, Abdullah Saleh respondió con un "creo que sí". "Y en caso de que los rusos nos ayuden a encontrar más petróleo, gas y metales, será todavía mejor. Entonces compraremos muchos aviones seguramente", declaró.

Exactamente con cuantos KA 32 cuenta Rusia?, hay algun pais interasado en comprarlo?

Si te refieres al Ka-32 mas de una centena tengo entendido.

Si te refieres al Ka-52 como lo mostrado en las imágenes, si te fijas los dos aparatos tienen numerales distintos, osea 2 en total y hasta el momento.

Y de este ultimo ya hay pedidos, hasta tres y muy aparte de los que tiene con la misma VVS.

MOSCOW, January 13 (RIA Novosti) - Russia has received export orders for the delivery of Ka-52 Hokum-B combat helicopters from three countries, the manufacturer said on Tuesday. (Ka-52 Alligator helicopter production launched - Image Galleries)

The Ka-52 is a twin-seat derivative of the Ka-50 Hokum-A attack helicopter, and is designed primarily for reconnaissance and target designation purposes. It is similar to the U.S. AH-64 Apache attack helicopter.

"We have received orders for these helicopters from three countries," said Yury Denisenko, general director of the Progress aircraft manufacturing company.

"We are studying these orders and will provide the names of the countries that ordered the aircraft if the contracts are signed," he added.

Denisenko also said that the Russian Defense Ministry would remain the key customer for Ka-52 helicopters, although he refused to disclose the number of aircraft ordered by the military, citing confidentiality.

The Russian government approved the production of Ka-52 attack helicopters at the Arsenyevsk plant in Russia's Far East in December last year.

According to Russia's Air Force chief, Col. Gen. Alexander Zelin, deliveries of the first 12 Ka-52 Hokum-Bs to the Russian Air Force will start in 2009.
